The Mendocino County Elections Office has learned that ballots mailed out for the upcoming Presidential Primary Election in the First Supervisorial District were all Republican, regardless of the voter’s party affiliation. The error was caused by a third-party vendor and the Elections Office is working with them to get replacement ballots printed and mailed out as quickly as possible. If you’ve already voted and returned your ballot, please contact the County Clerk’s Office. The Elections Office also plans to contact voters who’ve returned their ballots to verify they have the correct copy. Military and overseas ballots were not affected by the error.
