The Mendocino County Sheriff’s office is investigating a string of suspected arson fires along the south end of the Mendocino Coast. Deputies responded to a string of fires in Gualala over last weekend. The fires were in the area of Old Stage Road, in an outbuilding, then a modular home, a trailer and a sailboat all parked in the same area. Evidence of an accelerant was found by investigators along with other items that lead the Mendocino County Sheriff’s office to believe they are being set by the same suspect or suspects.
