There were some new arrivals over New Year’s. In Mendocino County, just before 4 am Monday morning, baby Mila was born to parents Shelby McGlothlin and Dylan Fraser Gilbert. The family received a First Baby Basket from the Adventist Health Ukiah Valley’s Family Birth Center. Lake County’s first baby of 2024 was born at 10:26 on Monday. Baby girl Jaylin was born to Janette Rivera and Gustavo Mora Cueras at Sutter Lakeside Hospital. The happy family also received a first baby basket with a number of items generously donated by local businesses.
