Ukiah Man Wanted on Multiple Felony Warrants Arrested and Jailed

A Ukiah man wanted on multiple felony warrants has been arrested. A Mendocino County Sheriff’s deputy on patrol on the 9th saw Jaime Rodriguez Jr. riding in a vehicle that was leaving an apartment complex. The driver, Leslie S. Medina of Ukiah, sped off at a high rate of speed when they saw the patrol car turn around. Rodriguez left the vehicle and fled on foot, tossing a loaded handgun to the ground. Deputies found Medina’s vehicle near her residence, served a search warrant, and arrested both Medina and Rodriguez. Rodriguez was booked into the Mendocino County Jail on a no-bail hold for suspicion of being a felon in possession of a firearm and ammunition, of committing a felony while out on bail, of violating his parole, and of failure to appear, as well as arrest warrants. Medina was booked on suspicion of felony evading and of harboring a fugitive with a $35,000 bond.
