Public Health Officers Says Exercise Safe Behavior During Holidays to Avoid Infections

Public Health Officer Noemi Doohan of Lake County Health Services has released guidelines to keep residents safe during the holiday season. There has been a rise in respiratory virus cases in the county. COVID-19 cases, though not at pandemic level anymore, still pose a threat, especially to those older and immunocompromised. Maintaining safety protocols, staying home if sick, hand washing, and ensuring all vaccinations are current is recommended.
