Fence and protective scaffolding have been put up around the Palace Hotel, in order to protect pedestrians while what to do with the building is decided. A permit application for those safeguards was recently received by Chief Building Official Matt Keizer. The owner, Twin Investments, LLC. has plans to deconstruct the building, but other than that, no real plans have been made clear. A project page on the city’s website has been put up to keep the community informed.
