Passersby reported a man falling off a cliff while walking his dog late yesterday afternoon near Point Arena. The report came in about 4:50 p.m., first responders were on scene by 5 and were performing CPR on the man. Unfortunately he was pronounced dead at the scene. Investigation into the accident by the Mendocino County Sheriff’s office is underway.
