The Lake County Library has announced its taken delivery of its new bookmobile. Tuesday, the county board of supervisors disbursed the funds needed to make the final payment on the vehicle. TheLakeCountyNews reports the county received a grant last April from the California State Library along with an allocation of ARPA funds to to purchase the bookmobile. Staff is being trained on its features, and a list of locations is being compiled for the vehicle’s initial debut. The bookmobile is expected to start a regularly scheduled route in early 2024.
