The Lake County Board of Supervisors meets tomorrow at 9 a.m. and will consider submitting public comment in response to PG&E’s initial draft surrender application and decommissioning plan for the Potter Valley Project, including the Scott Dam. TheLakeCountyNews reports the supervisors are submitting a draft letter documenting their concerns that the decommissioning doesn’t take into account Lake Pillsbury area property owner’s concerns and keeping area residents and the County of Lake whole, setting a dangerous precedent that should be of concern to all. At its meeting, the board will also consider adopting the Lake County Hazard Mitigation Plan.
