The Lake County Board of Supervisors meets today to discuss funding for the design portion of PG& E’s transmission and distribution line relocation within the Middle Creek Restoration Project. The seven transmission towers that reside within the project area must be elevated and distribution poles within the project area must be relocated, at a potential cost of $7.5 million. It’s proposed that the board allocate $200,000 from cannabis taxes for the PG&E Deposit needed for the project. The board will also get an update on the multi-agency response to the opioid crisis in Lake County.
