California State Parks announced that a new park project in Cobb is being recommended for funding through the Land and Water Conservation Fund. 16 local park projects have been recommended to the National Park Service. The Cobb Park would share in over 35 million dollars. Lake County would receive just under $208,000 to acquire almost 13 acres to create the new Cobb Community Park.
