Bodycam footage of the fatal deputy-involved shooting of a Lakeport man in November has been released. A spokesperson for the Sheriff’s office identified the man shot as businessman and former Clearlake High School wrestling coach Richard Michael Pyorre. Deputies found Pyorre armed with a gun and had already assaulted another man with a knife. Deescalation of the situation failed, Pyorre drew the firearm on the deputies and was shot and killed.
