Patients of Adventist Health received letters informing them they were out of network if covered by Blue Shield of California over the weekend. The letters were dated November 29th, with coverage expiring December 1st. According to Mendofever, Adventist didn’t answer questions regarding the notification, but a press release advised patients they might be covered for a time as a continuity of service and advised them to call customer service.
