According to a press release from the state Transportation Commission, new evacuation routes for neighborhoods near Willits and Ukiah are being included on a list of Climate Adaptation projects recommended for approval in its first cycle of funding. The two projects included are the Mendocino Redmeyer Road Extension and the Mendocino Brooktrails Second Access. The commission is scheduled to consider approval of the staff recommendations at its December meeting.
