Key infrastructure projects are moving ahead in the Hidden Valley Lake Community Services District. At the end of last month, local, state and federal officials gathered for a groundbreaking on the water tank replacement project, which will change out the current tank, installed in the 60’s. Assistance from FEMA’s Hazard Mitigation Grant Program, the California Department of Water Resources, and the community’s ratepayers all helped make the project happen. In the next months, the district will be replacing another water tank and installing backup generators at water pumping stations.
