The two people killed in a fiery plane crash near Covelo earlier in the month have been identified. Captain Gregory Van Patten of the Mendocino County Sheriff’s office said Vaughan Wesley Porter, 54, of North Highland, Utah, and Jaime Danielle Rust, 51, of Payson, Utah were both identified through dental records. Investigation into the crash of the Beech A36 Bonanza single-engine plane built in 1981 continues.
