Three projects in Mendocino County have been awarded grants totaling more than $7.5 million thanks to the Clean California program. The California Department of Transportation in a press release named the Beautify Willits program to receive $2.7 million. The Fort Bragg Art and Recycling Beautification Project will receive $267,000 to put art-covered waste receptacles throughout the city and the Anderson Valley Unified School district’s Track to Health and Fitness program will receive $4.7 million to provide fitness opportunities in Boonville.
