Mendocino County Auditor Chamise Cubbison has been suspended without pay by the County Board of Supervisors. MendoFever reports although Cubbison is due to enter a not-guilty plea in court, the Board consulted with an outside attorney who said the board has the legal right to do so. Cubbison’s attorney responded that he’d never heard of such an action.
