Lake County Supervisor Moke Simon has announced he won’t run for a third term. TheLakeCountyNews reports Simon made the announcement atthe end of the board’s last meeting. Simon was elected to the board in 2017, succeeding Jim Comstock, and since 2012 has served as tribal chair of Middletown Rancheria. He’s also served on the State Board of Fire Services since 2019. Simon says it’s the fourth quarter of his life and he’s got some things to do.
