Clearlake City Council Meets Tomorrow Evening at 6.

he Clearlake City Council meets tomorrow evening at 6. The council will consider increasing what it pays the Downey Brand Law firm to represent the City in litigations. The retainer would increase by half, going from $250,000 annually to $500,000. The city manager’s report states that a recent onslaught of challenges by the Koi Nation has prompted the increase. The council will also consider the sale of a city-owned property in the 15,000 block of 36th Avenue. There will also be a public hearing to close out a Community Development Grant for Code Enforcement and new police department employees will be sworn in.
