The annual burn ban for Lake County is officially over. CalFIRE states the risk of wildfires in the area has been reduced. Burn permits are required for all outdoor burning and are now available at lcaqumd.net, at southlakecountyfire.org, or in person at the Lake County Air Quality Management District office. Smoke management plans are also necessary prior to multi-day, overnight, standing vegetation, and any other burn where there may be significant smoke impact. Those are available at the LCAQMD office.
