The Clearlake Office of the CHP has reported that a Willits man died earlier in the week after his motorcycle collided head-on with a pickup truck near Lucerne. The victim of the crash has been identified as James Andrew Eble II. CHP received a call about the crash early evening on Tuesday and arrived on the scene to find both vehicles partially in the eastbound lane and partly on the south shoulder. It appears Eble crossed the yellow line into the pickup. Emergency personnel pronounced Eble dead at the scene. The driver and passenger of the pickup were unharmed.
