The Middletown Unified School District will soon have a new superintendent. TheLakeCountyNews reports Thad Owens who’s been superintendent for the last year and a half is being assigned a new position with the district for the remainder of the school year. Wednesday night the school board also voted to appoint David Miller as interim superintendent. This will be the third time Miller has served as interim. At the next board meeting, the search for a new superintendent will be addressed.
