At a midweek meeting of the Ukiah Planning Commission, the director of the homeless shelter in Ukiah reported that staffing levels have improved over the last six months. Sage Wolf said the shelter was back up to 55 beds after struggling as funding provided during the pandemic was reduced. Wolf is acting as shelter manager while a new project manager is hired.
