A fight in a bar in Point Arena is apparently what precipitated the murder of a man early Sunday morning. A call from family reporting an assault, and the person who was assaulted found dead of several gunshot wounds some distance from the bar prompted law enforcement to begin a homicide investigation. Two men thus far have been identified. Antonio Coria Garcia of Gualala turned himself in, and was booked on suspicion of murder. The second person is still at large and has not been named. An autopsy on the victim, Jesus Joel Romero is scheduled for later this week.
