According to willitsnews.com, on Friday, forest officials issued a closure order for a portion of the Yolla Bolly Middle Eel Wilderness, including several trailheads, trails and roads, the U.S. Forest Service announced.
According to a press release, “the Slide 1 Fire, which began on Aug. 15 after more than 150 lightning strikes on the forest, prompted officials to issue the closure order.
