Investigation into a confrontation between two neighbors continues, as one man was left dead in an incident in Redwood Valley. Midweek, the Mendocino Sheriff’s office received a call in the 2900 block of Richards Road about a shooting. Upon arriving, deptuties found Clinton M. Maxwell of Ukiah had shot and killed Timothy James Abshire of Redwood Valley after he allegedly found him trespassing. Maxwell was taken into custody without incident and has been charged with homocide and is being held in the Mendocino County Jail on $500,000 bond. An investigation continues and anyone with information is asked to contact the Mendocino County Sheriff.
