A plea of no contest was entered in Mendocino County Superior Court this week for the man accused of setting fire to the Gualala Community Center. Roland Joseph Eskind Jr. is charged with starting the blaze in mid-February, which destroyed most of the center, that charge has a sentencing enhancement. Eskind will be sentenced on September 21st in Ukiah.
