At the Lakeport City Council’s meeting last week, Public Works Director Ron Ladd gave the Lakeport City Council the most recent update on the Lakefront Park’s development. TheLakeCountyNews reports the project is on budget with little or no reserve remaining and that weather held up construction on the park, with an original completion date of May 25th, and with delays, the park is expected to be complete at the end of September. The city has planned a big event to celebrate the park’s opening.
