It’s been a busy time on Clearlake, with a number of fishing tournaments. And there was a tournament scheduled for Saturday but it’s been rescheduled to October. This means recreational will have a shot at getting some angling in. Bass action is slowing but catfish are on the upswing, and there is the annual Lakeport Yacht Club catfish derby for the third weekend of August.
