Ukiah Man Convicted of Stabbing Death Gets 12 Year Prison Sentence

A Ukiah man convicted of the stabbing death of another man has been sentenced to 12 years in prison. TheWillitsNews reports Leslie Alan Adelman, 71, was sentenced in Mendocino County Superior Court to state prison for 12 years after previously being convicted “by plea of voluntary manslaughter.” The victim, James Robert Andregg, 63, of Ukiah and Adelman had been arguing over prior thefts of property. Both Adelman and Andregg were homeless at the time of the incident.
