Savings Bank of Mendocino County has joined the Federal Home Loan Bank of San Francisco Workforce Initiative Subsidy for Homeownership or WISH matching down payment grant program. The bank will assist low to moderate-income first-time homebuyers with up to the maximum FHFA subsidy limit, which is just over $29,000 in down payment assistance until the $12.5 million WISH program funds are exhausted. This is the first year that Savings Bank of Mendocino County has participated.
