In a two-hour procession that traveled from the Napa County Coroners’ office through the south county to Lower Lake, Cal Fire Captain Ronnie Boyd was honored. TheLakeCountyNews says Captain Boyd and his wife Dena died due to a motorcycle accident. Captain Boyd was a long-time resident of Clearlake and had been with Cal Fire since the late 90s. When he passed he was a captain in the Humboldt-Del Norte Unit of Cal Fire. Arrangements are expected to be released by the Boyd family shortly.
