According to a report by the U.S. Census Bureau, the median age in the U.S. has increased to 38.9 years over the last couple of years. Lake County, however, is one of five counties in the state to show a decrease. The median age in the county is 42.9 years, a half a percent lower than before. Also changing was the Hispanic population, with California having the largest Hispanic population at just under 13 million.
