Lakeport City Council Hears Crime Report

The Lakeport City Council heard the crime report for last year at its regular meeting this past Tuesday. This report covers response times, number of incidents, types of crimes, number of arrests, use of force reporting and hours and types of officer and staff training. There were no homicides in Lakeport last year, and Police Chief Rasmussen said most of the statistics are similar to 2921, with the response to 911 calls taking almost a minute longer in 2022, mainly due to officer staffing shortages.
