Eight counties and one tribe are receiving funding through the tenth round of Small Community Drought Relief through the state. According to TheLakeCountyNews, the Habematolel Pomo of Upper Lake are included in the $10 million distribution of funding. The tribe will receive $100,000 to cover the cost of a new water well to replace the current well that has been compromised due to the drought.
