The Fort Bragg Police Department recently revealed the first of four electric vehicles to be used by the department. The four 2023 Ford F150 Lightning Special Service Vehicle (SSV) police trucks were purchased with grants and funds from the vehicle replacement budget. The electric vehicles will be half of the patrol fleet and are the beginning of the transition to electric vehicles by the department. The trucks will be put into service after having graphics and standard police equipment installed.
