The Medstar/Ukiah Ambulance Service has applied for a minor use permit for services within two existing buildings on N. State Street. The City of Ukiah Zoning Administrator will consider that request to operate that service. TheWillitsNews says the applicant wants to locate offices in a building at the front of the address and an ambulance station in the rear building, with special lights and sirens protocols so as not to disturb the neighboring buildings. There will be a public hearing on the matter on Tuesday at 10 am at the Ukiah Civic Center.
