The only full-service grocery store in a twenty-five-mile radius of Laytonville is for sale. TheMendoVoice reports Geiger’s Long Valley Market was founded in 1945 as a general store and now the building is for sale, as Geiger’s prepares to open a store in the Superette building in Hopland. The current owners of the grocery store, Maciel and Braught will continue to operate the store on a sale-leaseback basis.
