Lake County Board of Supervisors Meets Tomorrow Morning

The Lake County Board of Supervisors at their meeting tomorrow morning at 9 am will continue its move toward creating a public defenders program for the county and will consider a draft proposal on the process from a consultant. TheLakeCountyNews reports the board has previously discussed public defenders services and has hired Jose Varela, retired Marin County public defender to work on the project. The board will also approve continuation of a proclamation declaring a shelter crisis in the county and approve continuance of a proclamation of emergency for the Clear Lake Hitch as well as other items.
