At their regular meeting tomorrow evening at 6, the Clearlake City Council will hear from law enforcement leadership about an investigation into conditions at the city’s animal shelter. TheLakeContyNews reports a presentation by Clearlake Police Lt. Ryan Peterson into allegations of poor conditions at the shelter will be made. Complaints prompted the Chief of Police to direct North Bay Animal Services to address conditions and to start an investigation. Some allegations have been proven, others have not. The council will consider the report’s findings.
