Three people were killed in a crash on Highway 101 just outside of Ukiah early yesterday morning. California Highway Patrol reports a man driving a Toyota Echo northbound on Hwy. 101 drove the vehicle off the road just south of Pomo Lane, where it hit a tree and caught fire, becoming engulfed in flames. The male driver and two passengers, one male and female were all fatally injured and declared dead on the scene by EMS. The identities of the three have not been released. CHP is investigating the cause of the crash.
