Two solar power projects have signed agreements to be installed in Mendocino County. According to Mendofever, Renewable Properties, a developer of small scale utility and solar projects and Sonoma Clean Power have signed agreements. There will be an energy storage facility in Ukiah, which involves a high capacity battery used to capture solar energy when its plentiful and then redistribute it when needed and a solar array in Laytonville. The projects begin construction in March of next year and should be finished by early 2025.
