The suspected killer of a 16-year-old Covelo girl has been arrested. A 15-year ofl girl has been taken into custody in the death of Ruby Sky Montelongo. On Saturday, Mendocino County Sheriff’s deputies were called to a report of a dead body in a vacant field. Mnntelongo’s uncle told deputies family was searching for the girl, who had not returned home. The uncle called the sheriff when he found her body. The two girls had been associating on Friday night and there had been an assault. The 15-year-old girl is being held in the Mendocino County Juvenile Hall.
