The National Weather Service will conduct a tsunami warning communications test tomorrow between 11 am and noon in Mendocino, Humboldt, and Del Norte Counties. The exercise will test the EAS system which will broadcast alerts on local tv and radio stations and on NOAA weather radios as well as local tsunami warning sirens. The Civil Air Patrol will also fly the coastline testing their public address system. The Wireless Emergency Alert (WEA) system will NOT be activated for this test, so you should not receive the test warning on your cell phones.
