Mendocino Board of Supers Budget Workshop Raises Possibility of Cuts

Shortfalls and where the county really stands were a major concern at the Mendocino Board of Supervisors budget workshop at the beginning of the week. MendocinoCountyPublicBroadcasting reports Auditor-Controller Chamisse Cubbison stood by her estimate of $2.2 million carry-forward from last year’s budget, but CEO Darcie Antle cautioned that there may be surprises in a long-delayed outside audit. Many areas were looked at, and ultimately Antle warned the county may have to look at cuts.
