For the first time since 2019 Clear Lake hit the full mark yesterday. According to the LakeCountyNews, with more rain on the way, it’s anticipated the lake could hit the monitor stage, of 8 feet Rumsey, the special measurement for Clearlake, later this week. Flood stage is at 9 feet Rumsey, which it last reached in March of 2019. With concerns for high water with the additional rain, the Lake County Health Services Department has advised residents to restrict water drainage with strict water conservation measures and to check their systems for backups.
