Mariners should exercise extreme caution. A winter weather advisory is in effect through the weekend. Snow is expected, the Mendocino Coast may see up to 2 inches. For Mendocino and Lake counties can expect snow beginning late tomorrow through Friday, and may advance weather conditions to Warning status, with heavy snow and high winds predicted. Driving conditions will be hazardous, motorists should be prepared.
