Mendocino Community Network Will No Longer Provide Fusion Plan to New Customers

The Mendocino Community Network, local communications service provider owned by the Mendocino Unified School District has announced it will no longer offer its Fusion plan to new subscribers. The MendocinoBeacon reports that existing subscribers will continue on the plan. Deregulation that went into effect late January of this year has meant that smaller service providers like MCN may be priced out of the market. Rob Buch, new manager at MCN, say that over the years, MCN has had to think outside the box in order to continue to provide service and that is what they will continue to do. More information about the changes can be found at mcn.org.
