The Lake County Board of Supervisors yesterday voted unanimously to proclaim a local state of emergency for the Clear Lake Hitch. The LakeCountyNews reports the proclamation is the first step in solving the complicated issue of the looming demise of the fish, which historically filled the lake and its tributaries and fed the Pomo tribe.
